Busy bodies and nimble fingers!

SO MANY WAYS TO PRACTISE OUR FINE MOTOR SKILLS
As well as having a great deal of fun, the children observed closely to see where the sand travelled. They poured sand into small tubes using different sized scoops and spoons.

The children were eager to catch as many fish as they could with the computer game. They often use the large interactive whiteboard, but this week we focused on mouse control and use of the arrow keys on the keyboard. It was lovely to see children play the game again and again to move the net more accurately and increase their score.

Isn't spaghetti wonderful! More opportunities for practising cutting and gripping skills.

The playground was a great canvas for giant sized mark making - shapes, x marks the spot, writing names and lots of fun drawing.

There were some superstars this week when it came to tracing and copying letters. These children concentrated for a long time and were very proud of their work

GREAT OUTDOOR SPACES TO DEMONSTRATE OUR GROSS MOTOR SKILLS...

Climbing and balancing

stretching, striking, aiming
